Alireza Taravat received the PhD. degree in Geoinformatics from Dept. of civil and computer science engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2014. He currently works as senior Remote Sensing scientist for Deimos Space UK and is undertaking several European Space Agency funded projects related to Earth Observation data analysis. His areas of expertise are data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computational imaging for earth observation applications.
