María is a Software Engineer working for Red Hat where she develops middleware and Integration Platforms as a Service (IPaaS). Free and Open Source advocator and enthusiast, she is a strong Woman in Tech activist. Contributor to many open source projects, María has been a core developer of GeoNetwork for the last seven years. She has been the President of OSGeo for the last year and a half.
