Mihai-Daniel Niță is Associate Professor at Department of Forest
Engineering, the Transilvania University of Brasov and forest engineer at
Forest Design SRL. He teaches Watershed Management and Hydrotechnical
Terrestrial Measurements. As a researcher he is involved in projects
regarding forest management and monitoring, mainly as RS-GIS expert on
topics like LULUCF (land use, land-use change, and forestry) using remote
sensing and drone mapping, modeling habitat distributions for species and
evaluating Forest Ecosystem Services (FES).
