Zoltán Siki is a senior lecturer at the Department of Geodesy and Surveying at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary. He graduated as a civil engineer (MSc) from BME in 1983 and got a second diploma in Engineering Mathematics in 1986. Since that time he has been teaching at his alma mater. He has been the main organizer of the annual Hungarian local FOSS4G events since 2013. Zoltán has been an OSGeo charter member since 2014. In the same year a Geo4All lab was established at his department that is led by him. He was the chairman of the workshop committee of the FOSS4G Europe in 2015 and member of the general track committee of the FOSS4G Europe 2017. Zoltán contributes to OSGeo projects (QGIS, OSGeoLive).
